William & Lawrence is a family-run residential contracting company founded by cousins Judson Sweany and Alex Lawrence. After years in the construction industry, they started the company with a simple belief: the person you speak with on the first call should be the same person planning the project, managing the jobsite, and driving nails along the way.
That hands-on involvement is at the center of how we work. There are no layers of salespeople and no handoff to someone you have never met. When you hire William & Lawrence, you work directly with the people responsible for the job—from the initial conversation through the final walkthrough.

Judson Lawrence Sweany
Partner | Registered Residential Contractor
Judson has more than 10 years of experience in residential and commercial construction, with a focus on framing, custom homes, renovations, and structural work. Known for his hands-on approach, practical problem-solving, and attention to detail, he stays closely involved from planning through completion to ensure each project is built correctly and to a high standard. Judson is also a certified Centor door installer and holds an ASHI home inspection certification, reflecting his commitment to quality, safety, and lasting workmanship.
Alex William Lawrence
Partner | Project Management & Field Operations
Alex brings experience in project supervision, field operations, and client-facing project management, with a strong focus on organization, communication, and safe project execution. He has supervised crews, coordinated schedules, managed equipment, and maintained OSHA and site-specific safety standards across demanding field environments. That experience has shaped a practical, hands-on approach built around planning, accountability, and clear communication. Alex helps keep projects moving efficiently from start to finish while maintaining a professional jobsite and a consistent standard of quality.
